Both compel her to try to capture with watercolor the wonder and inspiration of a moment in time. Rather than attempting a literal portrayal, she paints the energy and emotion that first drew her to the subject.
She believes watercolor displays a special luminosity that is unique among painting mediums.
The Florida Watercolor Society Annual Juried Exhibition was held at the beautiful Leu Gardens in the Garden House Gallery in Orlando, Florida. I was honored to be awarded the Joanna Myers Warbler Award by our juror, Carol Carter.
